Walking gets rid of the daily stress, makes one feel free and easy. It's healthy and brings you into shape. But what actually is walking?
Walking is nothing else than going with a faster step. There is a defined technique, but this almost corresponds to the normal day by day walking. That's also why this sport is so easy to do. Walking is good for your stamina withour overloading your circulation. After going walking you'll feel a bit drained, but still fit and not powered out - and gentle to joints. The weight on the joints are about 1-2 times of your body weight. Whereas by going jogging the weight is about 8-10 as much as your own body weight. The muscles of your shoulders, trunk and legs are also trained because of the use of the arms.
