The nature reserve centre offers events all year round for children and adults, which are reported in a playful or scientific way about the ecological relationships and hazards of the landscape and its animals and plants. The goal is to win the visitors to a responsible use of nature.

Moreover, the nature reserve centre is in charge of six nature reserves with about 2,600 hectares in the immediate vicinity and coordinates conservation activities in this area.
